Dear Pastors, Chaplains, and Urban Church Leaders,
Equipping Leaders. Empowering Movements.
We are very excited about the Excellence in Fathering Conference
we will be hosting with Dr. Ken Canfield on May 23rd. Dr. Canfield is
recognized as one of the world's leading experts on Fathering. He has
been recognized as such by leaders as diverse as Oprah, Al Gore, and
Dr. James Dobson. More importantly, Dr. Canfield knows and believes in
the foundational importance of every man having a healthy relationship
with his heavenly Father.
We are hoping to see fathers,
grandfathers, and future fathers from at least 25 churches and urban
ministries participate in this conference. Enclosed you will find
information on a number of ways to get your church involved with the
conference. Here is a quick summary of opportunities:
1)
Become or recruit a Mentor Father at your church. This will allow
your church to be officially recognized as a sponsoring church at the
Canfield conference.
3) Become a Conference Partner. As a Conference Partner, your church will be helping to underwrite this conference and will make sure that we can keep the conference available to all the dads who are interested in coming.
4) Join the Conference Planning Team. If you would like to volunteer your time and are committed to praying for the conference, then this opportunity is for you!

A pastor from one of our sponsoring churches recently prayed that generational curses would be broken at this conference and asked that families and churches would be radically different for generations because of what God does at this conference. Please join us in asking God to do this very thing on May 23rd.
